An open-source WordPress theme built with accessibility and internationalization as core principles. Supports WCAG 2.1 AA, RTL languages, and multilingual plugins.

Built from scratch with native WordPress patterns rather than page builders or heavy dependencies — custom post types for projects, services, and academic publications, each with its own native meta boxes instead of ACF, and a native contact form powered by wp_mail() instead of a forms plugin. The design system centers on CSS custom properties, a restrained color palette, and Georgia-serif editorial typography, closer to a tech magazine than a typical WordPress template.

Accessibility is built into the chrome itself, not bolted on afterward: a toolbar with high-contrast, larger-font, and reduced-motion toggles that persist across visits, visible focus states throughout, and markup written with WCAG 2.1 AA in mind. The whole theme runs in Portuguese, English, and French via Polylang, including translated custom post types, taxonomies, and every user-facing string.
